"Fab-u-ous! The part we stayed in has only just opened & some landscaping still taking place outside but didn't cause any issues. All the staff were brilliant, large room, spotlessly clean & the food excellent. Lovely pool area & a short walk to hop on, hop off bus stop or the hotel offers a shuttle to some locations. Couldn't fault anything, we will be going back next year."

"We have stayed here a few times now and it is always excellent. From the reception staff, waiters and cleaners they are all excellent. The breakfast has many choices and sets you up for the day. In warm conditions you can sit outside to have your breakfast looking over the bay of Mellieha, Ghadira Bay. On day one our kettle became faulty and within 10 minutes of contacting the reception staff a maintenance person was sent up and fixed the problem. The room is cleaned each day to a very good standard, tea, coffee, sugar and milk is replenished daily. The water is hot and bathroom facilities are provided. If you like a quiet location VIU57 is an excellent choice with views to die for. The only slight downside is parking a vehicle. The hotel is down an incline and parking has to be found where possible, though you can drive down to unload and reload your vehicle when needed. We cannot praise this hotel enough and it's great staff. We are already getting ready to book again for next year."

"We got a flat tire on the way not far from the hotel. We got the donut on and made it the last leg to the hotel. But we had a long trip ahead the next day and the donut spare is only good for about 50 miles and it was a Saturday night- everything closed until Monday. We were scheduled to take a ferry to Malta the next day. The front desk found a tire shop and knew someone who could repair it. A life saver at 21:30! They went over the top to help us. "
