"We had a lovely stay, made possible only by the excellent accommodation made for us by the staff at Burghotel. One of the great selling points is the excellent location, particularly for those interested in the fortress and the Albrecht Durer house. We are planning a return trip next year, and will definitely stay here again!"
"This is a little gem of a hotel right in the middle of the prettiest part of Nuremberg's old town and historic centre. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and the woman at Reception went out of her way to suggest places of interest and give advice. Breakfast was really good and the hotel was very clean and quiet. All in all, an excellent choice and great value."
"I was upgraded to the suit, very nice room with comfortable temperature and space. Renovated bathroom and nice bed. Very good breakfast and nice staff!! The location is great with lots of pubs and restaurants in the area. I really recommend this hotel. "

"Great location!!! “Everything” is within walking distance, including parking. We wondered if off site parking would be a problem, but it was not, not at all. Very helpful and friendly staff. In just a few minutes, walk to the market place, to St. Lawrence Church, to the impressive city gate, to shops and restaurants. Very clean throughout, spacious. Great shower, nice towels.Would stay here again without hesitation!"
"This hotel is probably one of the best to around the Nuremberg area. It's is right across from the Nuremberg old town with just a street crossing away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and thing to do around the areas. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city of Nuremberg. It's is also a 4 minute walk from the Main Nuremberg Train station. "
"Great hotel very close to dining and tourist options. Few minutes walk from the castle. Good breakfast (terrible coffee - go to a take away cafe for that), clean room and bathroom, nice green view out window. Walls a bit thin is all I would say negative but all the other up sides make this place well worth it. "
"Great location, right on the main market square. Close to walking distance for all old town sights. Excellent breakfast. Nice bar, although the bartender was very inexperienced. Nice big rooms. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. "
"Perfect and lovely stuff! Overall we had a wonderful experience at Karl August. Location, breakfast also great. Only maybe the service at dinner could be better. We didn’t have much vegetarian options."
