The Flagler College is a tribute to Henry Flagler who built the guilded age hotel in the 1880's. Mr. Flagler attempted to build a Key West railroad which was destroyed in a hurricane in 1931. Because of the construction of the railroad there is highway today to Key West.
Flagler college takes up residence in what was originally built as The Ponce de Leon Hotel, a luxury winter resort opened in 1888.

The beautiful Memorial Presbyterian church in St. Augustine, one of my favorite landmarks in the town. Took this snap while I was on a trolley ride. I haven't been able to step inside yet, but it's on my list for my next trip.

Our room was perfect! Nicely decorate very cozy. The property is within easy walking distance to the historic district, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make our stay feel special! Loved every minute of our stay.
