The palazzo is beautiful! We had a fridge in the room, was what very convenient in this high temparatures! The room was excellent! The daily breakfast was made with love. It is perfectly located to see the area. We asked to park the car en were a bit disapointed that this was extra charged. Xe thought it to be included in the price. Squinzano is quitly safe, so there was no need.

18th century elegance

A charming time warp with modern facilities! Rooms filled with an eclectic assortment of curios and antiques made for a romantic dip into the past. Very friendly and helpful staff made plentiful breakfasts even more delightful. Balanced with a small but clean and modern bathroom with lovely hot water and a powerful shower, gave the perfect combination. Only one critisism, which is not the fault of the hotel, was that the small town was lacking in anywhere to go locally for refreshment or entertainment. Would not recommend if you don't have your own transport!

Our stay at the palazzo was one of the best stays we have ever had in a long time! The staff and the hospitality they have shown to us was amazing! From the very beginning of our booking until the day we left we were treated like royalty. Caterina always had answers, suggestions, for all our needs. Our breakfast always "yummy" and prepare by the most caring, lovely Laurie! Language was not barrier; you don't need to speak the same language to know kindness. The palazzo is gorgeous inside and out, if you have any mobility issues, they do have an elevator which was A+ for us. All this to say, if you ever are in the vicinity of Squinzano or close to it and need a place to stay where you be taking care of and have and excellent time, I recommend the stay at the Palazzo de Castro. If there were more stars to give, I would give more!!! Denisse, Dexter & Angela
