"This is a quirky old motel with lots of character, and I really enjoyed my stay. It has a charming, retro feel that makes it more interesting than a standard chain hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. It may not be brand-new or fancy, but that is part of its charm. Very good value, memorable, and definitely recommended."

"I’m a business traveler, so most of the amminaties, were not something I would take advantage of. I think it’s great that Cactus Cove offers this type of hotels for families, I was one of those families back in the day. My room was comfortable and quite for the most part, I wasn’t to impressed with the options on the tv but if I was a guy with small children, that would be great."

"Great place to stay. Cabins were clean. Front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest but not overly mean. I’m used to friendly people in Texas but maybe they were having a bad day or live in New Mexico. I’d definitely stay again even though they just have van that takes you to the restaurant, not a limo like advertised. Maybe it’s an Amarillo Limo??"
