"Very comfortable bed and room. Only shortcoming was fact the property has no elevator to the second floor. For a young healthy person probably not a problem but for guests in their late 70s a significant obstacle. Requesting a main floor room was met with an up-charge in the room rate which, although not necessarily excessive, does leave the impression that the hotel has little concern for well-being of the guests. Perhaps a better mixture of room types on each floor might be a reasonable and responsible solution, unless the hotel’s goal is to upsell the guests based on a shortcoming of the hotel facilities. Does seem suspicious."

"Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. It is located in walking distance to Brandon University. The room and breakfast area were clean and comfortable. The food was acceptable. You have to be clear about housekeeping as they offer everyday, every other day or not at all. As Holiday Inn’s go, it was top notch. Compared to equally priced accommodation, I would recommend this over any others I have seen."
