"Staff absolutely superb, beautiful traditional hotel, they don't make them like this anymore! Room generous and room amenities excellent. Food superb although coffee iffy."

"We had quick check in and room ready before 3 pm. Room very warm and spacious. Saw a couple of cobwebs in corners on ceiling however. The tea and coffee facilities were good but the kettle didn''t switch off automatically and kettle lid didn' t stay on very well which was a hazzard. We were a little disappointed to find that our bed had not been made even though the cleaner had been in as teacups had been washed. This hadn't been an issue on a previous stay however."
