Absolutely perfect location ,close to Sparta and Mystras . Property located in oranges orchard with beautiful view of mountains. The only one minus- shower /toilet combo, which is very small.There is no front desk, to get key instruction you have to call owner.But view was worth it!

Simply Amazing - best stay I've had!

This was the best stay I had on my trip. Pristine silence and fresh air, and a small heating unit makes the room cozy. Comfy bed, pillows, and blankets. It's "minimal"... but really it has everything you need and more... Nikos was nice, communicative (over phone), and recommended a *great* local restaurant... 'En Chatipi' If you plan right and leave the heater on while showering, you can squeeze 12 minutes of steaming hot water. There's no wifi, but the place gets cell service. I did all my wifi things in town after dinner I visited in March and the oranges outside were ripe and delicious Thank you Nikos

One really needs to include the word “lodge” in the directions, otherwise you will end up twice in the wrong place, and locals will tell you Taygetos is, in fact, the mountain. Once you’re on the property, it’s BEAUTIFUL! You’re in the middle of an orchard and the views are breathtaking. It’s like you’re actually living in Greece because it’s not commercial at all. The place is clean and bug free. We stayed on the top floor and it was quiet, so quiet that when a squirrel goes across the roof you think someone is outside, trust me, don’t try to pull up the blinds, though, they may be better attached when you arrive. The furnishings are spartan, (get it?), but you will be going into town, so you won’t need a TV (you’ll live). It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown, but it’s a nice walk. The shower is a wet bath, so you can check off two tasks at once. The bed was comfy, even for tall people, and an extra heater was in the room. The owner was communicative, though his English was way better than my Greek, we still had a barrier; which brings me back to the beginning of the review.

it is a very spartan accomodation. not a hotel as listed, a guest house on a farm property. it is not where directions take you to. this is a know issue and it is incomprehensible why this has not been corrected.

Address listed- wrong- had to call owner to be told correct one. No lights when arrived at property. Small, flimsy sheets/blanket/towel. Water from bathroom went down to kitchen/bedroom. Bathroom small. Not much toilet paper

Hoewel de ruimte(40 m2) van de kamer uitstekend was, was het gehele vertrek zeer slecht ingericht. c.q. afgewerkt. Vanuit de deur een uitzicht op een deels gevulde big bag op zo'n 5 meter afstand. De kamer is overigens niet de ruimte van de foto op Expedia Voor 2 dagen elk een kleine handdoek (volgens het contact was dat de policy van het bedrijf). Een handdoek had 2 gaten 4 ronde bleekplekken. De stoelen bij de tafel zijn gevaarlijk, als je niet oppast val je achterover (Meteen de 1e zit al gebeurt). Er staat een scheefstaande oude theetafel, Het bed is ongeveer 140 cm breed en je rolt telkens naar elkaar toe. Er is een keuken met dikke onregelmatige lagen kit vastgezet door een amateur. Er waren 2 borden 2 verschillende lepels, 2 verschillende vorken, 2 messen en 2 glazen. Dat is alles. Op de koelkast ligt vettige stof. De badkamer met douche in het bad met een smerig gordijn, afgewerkt met dikke lagen kit, een gat op de rand van het bad is opgevuld met een plak kit. De douchekop straalt recht vooruit en is niet te bewegen. Het raam in de badkamer is een smerig ingezet geheel. De wastafel leunt op 2 buizen uit de muur en met dikke lagen kit vastgezet. Op de deur zitten verfspatten, de rozet bij de kruk is met kit en 6 schroeven vastgezet. Het kastje is te smerig om te tandenborstel neer te leggen. Behoorlijk wat duizendpoten lopen ook door kamer en badkamer. In de gebruiksaanwijzing staat "Please leave the appartment as neat as possible". Alles is vastgelegd met foto's

Le cadre est vraiment sympa, la chambre spacieuse mais le lit est une horreur d'un autre temps. Checkez les mails le jour même, sans les indications supplémentaire c'est assez difficile à trouver.

An appropriately spartan place but pleasant

This is a nice self contained apartment with stunning views and a beautiful yard. The area was quiet apart from the neighbourhood dogs. Its close to the main street of the city and the major attractions. My only issue would be that it is advertised as having cooking facilities but it doesnt but thats not a big deal with so many options nearby.

Deceptive. Impossible to shower. Go elsewhere.

The only good thing was the bed seemed clean and there were plenty of electrical sockets. I was greeted by used toilet paper unflushed in the toilet. Impossible to shower here with or without hot water. The throughput is so low you have trouble washing your hands, let alone your body. The strange thing is that the kichen sink has plenty of water pressure, including hot water. There is no bathroom sink. The sink is where you wash the dishes. No mirror in the bathroom either. It's advertised as having a Kitchenette. There's nothing to warm any food. Not even a kettle. It also advertises "Premium bedding". The top sheet was the thinnest I've seen in my life and definitely had nothing premium about it. There were no blankets. "rainfall showerhead": It's a regular showerhead and again, showering is an impossibility due to almost no water. "Full-sized refrigerator": It's a mini-fridge. It was so cold it froze a water bottle solid overnight. There is some leakage from the roof and the walls have the water stains to prove it (see my pictures). Finally, it isn't advertised, but no WiFi. I know this place is not expensive but it's no excuse since I actually came from cheaper places that put this one to shame. The cherry on top was being asked at 8:40 when I was leaving when the checkout time was 11:00. All communication by in app messages, but remember, no WiFi. 30 minutes on foot from the bus station and to the attractions. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Μείναμε απόλυτα ικανοποιημένοι από το κατάλυμα καθώς και από την εξυπηρέτηση που είχαμε ..ελαφρώς αρνητικό ήταν το γεγονός ότι δεν υπάρχει καμία ηλεκτρική συσκευή. Οπότε αν θέλεις να μαγειρέψεις πρέπει να τη φέρεις ο ίδιος ...πάραυτα η διαμονή μας ήταν ευχάριστη Αφού το κατάλυμα ήταν αρκετά άνετο και στεγάζεται κοντά στο Κέντρο Σπάρτης είναι και αρκετά ήσυχη η τοποθεσία του..

Qualité prix raisonnable

Assez bien situé, plutôt calme juste quelque chien qui aboient. Chambre, lit un peu petit pour 2 personnes, mais confortable. Frigo et balcon 👌 Salle de bain un peu plus problématique, jet de la douche peu fort, et une fois la douche fini, il y a de l'eau partout. Il manquait également des serviettes. Mais dans l'ensemble, c'était plutôt bien et tres raisonnable pour le prix !
