"Several years ago, I used to travel to Casper for business and always liked the C’mon Inn. Now, I can’t believe the Board of Health allows it to remain open. I haven’t had a hotel experience this disgusting in a very long time.
The lobby, site of the many hot tubs, is loud and raucous, with kids running and screaming, pools of water all over the floors that have to be a safety hazard, and a general dinginess that feels moldy and unclean.
The room is rundown - bathtub fixtures were rusted, furniture was threadbare (literally), shower head coated with calcium buildup so only sprays a few random misdirected streams. Soundproofing is terrible - you can hear everything in the rooms adjacent and no one seems to care that kids are running up and down the halls way past reasonable hours.
But the worst was that someone had thrown up outside our room. By our second day, when it hadn’t been cleaned, I stopped by the desk to let them know. They said they’d take care of it, but when we checked out on our third day, it was still there, crusted into the carpet.
The desk staff doesn’t seem to be there most of the time. We only had two hangars, and when I called to ask for 8 more, they told me to come down to the front desk and wait. 10 minutes later, a bedraggled and harried staff member came back, telling me he could only find 6. It’s a hotel…really??!!
Check out is very early - 10 am (!?), but you’ll likely be as eager to leave as we were.
Overall, just gross.
