Friendly and efficient staff. Good bedroom, good bar and great food.

Very nice setting with excellent staff. Food outstanding and walks around the estate were very pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel on very short notice as we were delayed on a ferry crossing to Rosslare - this hotel is about 30 minutes' drive from the port and would be an ideal place to stay the night before a sailing or as a base for exploring Wexford and its many attractions. We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome and the offer of food if we needed it: we had a very comfortable room with two double beds for our family of four, and a view of the Slaney River from our Juliet balcony. Stayed before at the Ferrycarrig due to the facilities at the hotel and the fantastic views of the Estuary. You won't be disappointed. Only small gripe was breakfast due to self service the cooked bacon etc can be a tad cold and chewy. Otherwise good spread and plenty to chose from.

Hotel was in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was worth the money with plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the pillows were not so comfortable and there was no air conditioning in the room although there was a desk fan provided. Just glad we didn't stay in the heat wave. If you are visiting Kilkenny I would recommend this hotel.

Fab hotel with friendly staff. The pool / jacuzzi area was free to use for guests and was lovely

lovely views, awesome setting, they were fabulous with the kids, food great and spa and swimming pool awesome. Best breakfast, buffet with cooked also that I have ever had, free for kids

Water front views ,on the Quay in Wexford yet only around the corner from the main shopping areas of this town. Plenty do and lots of information of where to go in the reception area, The spa facilities were great. Just make sure you book for any special massages etc that you may like as they are in great demand. Will be going there again.

check in was excellent, very friendly staff offered me a mince pie and some hot chocolate and a room upgrade as i hadbeen at the hotel 30 years previously. Hotel has changed, been upgraded and my room was on a par with any of the 5 star hotels i have stayed at in Asia. Lovely ambiance in the hotel, bed was v v comfy. excellent coffee at breakfast. Will return in summer.

Staff very friendly and efficient. Wonderful breakfast. Room very nice and clean and we never heard a sound at night.

We had a great stay as usual at the Minella. Always has a home from home feel . Beautiful place, stunning location. We will definitely be back again . Thank you to everyone at The Minella Hotel Clonmel . 5 Stars .

We checked in and discovered our room didn’t have a bath, we were swapped to a room with one immediately, not a problem to the staff. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was also spotless. Bath and shower were separate, water pressure was fab and hot water always available no matter what time of day you were using it. Mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine with pods, hair dryer, iron and ironing board all provided. Breakfast selection was plentiful and hot food was replenished regularly....

Stayed here 4 nights when visiting family. Had my son who is two years old and it had the facilities next door at the dome to keep him entertained. Room was big, clean and beds were comfy. We didn't use the pool as your required to wear a swimming hat which is apparently normal there. We had breakfast included and there was a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was fast. Couldn't fault a thing.

Pleasant, friendly staff. Clean Modern hotel with good standard. Better than I expected. I rather thought it was going to be more motel like with self catering being the priority.
