"We had a great stay! The hotel is older, but has been kept up and was clean, there was plenty of room, and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was simple but adequate and again, wonderful staff. It’s right downtown making shopping and restaurants very walkable. We would gladly stay again."

"There is no local number to call the hotel directly, so this review is less about interaction with actual hotel staff and more about Wyndham staff. You can only connect with Wyndham staff for any questions about this hotel. I called twice and twice was told there was no shuttle from the ferry terminal or the airport for this hotel. After engaging an Uber from the ferry terminal, we pulled up to the hotel at the same time as the hotel's shuttle from the ferry. There are some maintenance issues with this hotel, the toilet in my room was not secured to the floor properly and wobbled quite a bit. A wrapped soap had been dropped in the toilet and left there. The towel/soap wrap left on the tub was damp, which made me wonder if it had been used for something or just put down too quickly before the tub was dry. The staff are trying, but it doesn't look like Wyndham is giving them much help."

"We love this historic hotel. It is always clean and tidy and the staff members are always so friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay to be close to the harbor and downtown Sitka."

"If you are looking for “historical” this is your spot! Stairs are ridiculously steep. Carpet in rooms. No air. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. "

"This property is our go to location when visiting family in Juneau. The rooms are clean and conveniently located to Fred Meyer and Safeway and the airport. Just a short drive to downtown in one direction and to the Valley and Auke Bay in the other direction. We’ve never been concerned with safety and there is sufficient parking close to the entrance. "

"The hotel was clean and a nice condition, but beginning to show its age a little bit. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable. I recall this a good standard hotel, but not luxurious."
