"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. "Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife. Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy). The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes). Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok! "

"Such an amazing place to stay. Beautiful property right on a beach that is perfect for swimming. I stayed in a room which faced the ocean. Very private and quiet at night. The host prepared breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious including fresh fruits and homemade juice. The room was extremely clean. I would recommend this to anyone wishing for a clean and relaxing place to stay near Beruwala."
