South Eastern Morocco Trip

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, travelling today comes with some extra challenges. Cast your eye over these handy tips before boarding your plane to South Eastern Morocco:

• Research what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so don't forget to check before you lock something in.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at security checkpoints. You should be prepared to adjust your mask to verify your identity when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, place it directly on the scanner yourself. Once that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA now allows passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will need to be removed from your bag and presented for screening.
• Remove items from your pockets, like your phone and wallet, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• Separate any food you're carrying for screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to touch and inspect your belongings.

From the departure area to your designated seat, airlines around the world are following measures such as social distancing to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Two excellent examples are:

• Ryanair - this airline is known for cleaning with disinfectant and providing passenger masks.
