"This was my first time staying at the Marriott Stellaris and Casino and unfortunately I most likely will not return. The food options were good and the prices were decent. The casino was decent and at night the lobby is very lively. We didn’t try the sushi but heard it was good. The Starbucks was always a good option for coffee or a snack. The beach is great and the staff is helpful. All staff had great attitudes which helped you feel like you were well taken care of. The property is clean. There are large rock areas that should have water flowing but they were not working during our way. It took away from the luxury aspect of the resort. During check in, the receptionist advised us that you can reserve a palapa at 5 PM the night before for the following day. She didn’t mention anything about paying for a palapa (which costs $30 per day) or booking a palapa much more in advance. We were there for six days and were only able to book a palapa two of the days due to each one being taken. The only real complaint is the humidity in the room. We couldn’t really narrow down why or how it was so humid but it was so humid in the room it was hard to sleep. We left our suitcases open and by day 2, all of the clothing in the suitcases were damp. By day 3, there was a “wet” stench on the clothes. My husband’s allergies are sensitive which caused him to be uncomfortable most of the time in the room."

"The drinks by the pool were not strong. The lunch by the pool( inside) was really good. I wish this property had an Asian restaurant! Also a shuttle to and from the airport would have been good, especially since the island isn’t very big. Additionally, it would have been nice to have servers on the beach for drinks. Also the spa prices were crazy high. So I didn’t use them. The aloe store is nice. The buffet dinner is pretty good and breakfast is good as well. One very disappointing thing was room service had about 5 things on it. I have never seen such a sparse room service menu. It was odd."

"Room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning was amazing. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Check in was a breeze. We were greeted right away by Ashanti and Patricia with champagne. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived. We were having trouble with our internet and maps. We text the hotel and immediately was text back with directions to the hotel. Cynthia and Bryan were BEYOND amazing. Bryan helped us pick places to eat that were not on our list of "must eat" places. They both treated us like friends. Great conversation and were genuinely upset to see us leave as much as we were. The pool was great with the swim up bar and snacks. Eventhough the hotel was sold out, you would never of known. Only issues we had were with the TV and water pressure, which were fixed right away. "

"Furniture in lobby was stained due to being fabric which means it’s not easily disinfected. Baseboards in room and bathroom were dirty. Rug in living area of room had stains. Refrigerator smelled terrible. The actually room surfaces, linens, furniture was clean and comfortable. Room was spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "
