"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "The room was great, only real downside was no air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave) but there was a fan provided so that gave some comfort. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is good, close to a grocery store and a couple cafes. Public transportation is about a 7-10 minute walk away for tram stops. "
