While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. "Wonderful hotel with great staff! The breakfast was excellent with many options. The room was super clean with a staff member (I think her name was Maria) making an extra effort to cheer us every day leaving some cute figures in the forms of animals made of towels in our room. Highly recommend!"

"It was an amazing experience at the resort. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool area and beach. A few small improvements would make the experience even more consistent with a five-star hotel: adding extra towel or robe hooks in the shower area, installing a hygienic shower in the bathroom, and providing a capsule coffee machine in the room. The location is also very convenient—just a short taxi or bus ride from Platania, with many restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!"

"Caldera Crete paradise was absolutely fabulous, very clean and staff were helpful and very friendly,the food was very good every evening was a different theme and so much to choose from every day. We had a fantastic time but we weren't ready to leave the place so we will return hopefully very soon."
