"Family run, husband and wife team, incredibly hospitable. Breakfast was included, prosciutto, local cheeses, eggs to order, nice breakfast rolls and fruit tart, dinner was great , nice menu, the tagliatelle with lamb was delicious, the wines were great. weather in spring was nice, opened the bedroom window to fresh cool clean air. My room was ample, queen bed and second room with bunk beds if I recall correctly. All in all a great experience. Thank you"

"I don’t understand why this historic hotel isn’t booked to capacity every night. Great host, terrific location, splendid breakfast. What’s not to like? We’ll be back!!"

"It was a beautiful hotel and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated how well they took care of us. However, I would warn other guests not to underestimate the Passo Della Mauria on the way into Forni di Sopra, especially in the winter. "

"Nice location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The evenings were unfortunately quite loud. We could always hear noises from the rooms around us, us well as a steady loud pump of music coming from the kitchen each night. One night in particular there was a wedding onsite in the courtyard/ at the restaurant- I have no problem with a bit of noise of celebration… But the noise was extreme. Not a restful evening of sleep in the slightest. Kept me from sleeping. We also utilized the spa one evening which was just okay. We only used about 45min of our 1.5h time slot. The hot tub was cold and shower temperatures would fluctuate significantly within seconds."

"We stopped in relais Picaron for only one-night as part a loop travel of 2 weeks motorride... The place is amazing, the rooms are confortable with nice view of the surrounding landscape and the restaurant is very fine, especially the meat"
