"Well maintained hotel but it’s in a very noisy area and there was a large group having a party right above us until after 3:30am. Tried calling the room and front desk twice but no answer despite a reporter 24 hour concierge. Made for a very tired day the next day!"

"I read some of the reviews and was worried but actually could not fault it. From check-in to check out everything was great! Yes, the walls are a bit thin but it’s hotel living, so expected some noise. The brunch is amazing - hot breakfast, continental breakfast, fruit, smoothies, great coffee but not great breakfast tea (maybe bring some Tetley tea bags if you are a Tea-Jenny!) I can see that it would get busy in the peak season but for a few days everything was great. Staff in dining room were particularly nice and did not judge if you had a vanilla slice/Danish pastry on the same plate as your eggs and bacon! 😳 250 yards to the beach and, if the sun shone, all you need. The resort is predominately German but we didn’t see any hassle from stag/hen do’s and if you fancy a good night out, Cafe Bar De Zaak had German karaoke which everyone sung along to! La Rosa and bar 1955 were also great choices for either a slow sundowner or a full meal. "
