"The hotel is in a good location by a bus stop and beach. The pool was amazing and there was entertainment in the evenings. Although the room was spacious and well equipped with a useful kitchenette and large bathroom with plenty of hot water it was let down by the uncomfortable beds. We were on half board and although the breakfasts were excellent, the evening meals were not so as the hot dishes were only just warm, and the soups were tasteless. "Son Bou itself is quiet with a number of restaurants- it was ok as we were only here 4 nights but I think if you were staying for 10 days / 2 weeks there wouldn’t be enough choice. The hotel is located at the top of a hill above Son Bou. It is walkable but the hotel lay on a regular shuttle bus to and from Son Bou which is really great. We had a Superior Balcony room which i believe had been refurbished. The room was clean, comfy bed. The shower was good. Our air conditioning didn’t work brilliantly but reception staff were very helpful and sent a technician to look at it. Two things we didn’t like: There is an in room safe but it costs 3 euro a day to use it - this was waived for us but it’s really not acceptable to be charging to use a safe in the room. Also pool towels are 1 euro if you want clean ones! This is poor. If you want a hotel in a quiet location, with pool and evening entertainment then this may be ok for you. This isn’t what we enjoy therefore we wouldn’t return. However staff are extremely pleasant and helpful."
