The nearest major town is Namur. From the house a popular hiking trail leads to Somme-Leuze and the village of Chardeneux. This is considered the most beautiful village of the Ardennes, where the main attraction is St. Mary's Church. If you visit Namur, then the cathedral and the train station are definitely worth a visit. The exterior of the station looks like a medieval church and is decorated with coats of arms of major Belgian cities and a rosette.
