"Stayed at the Ballard Inn recently in the middle of May and it was magical. Its a really cute boutique hotel with age old charm and updated services. Their breakfast is included and its delicious. " The location was great for walking around Solvang. Summer, the "check-in" desk staff was friendly & personable. The cottage was nicely renovated. Our only complaint deals with the dirty floor. After the first night, we realized that the floor had not been cleaned prior to our visit. This was very disappointing as our slippers were filthy. We would stay there again but we would preview the room / cottage for the cleanliness of the floor. "
