Disappointed that no place to walk after one double bed and one single bed (after paying higher price for second bed but same room space as one bedded room There is not even a chair to sit. The font desk staff was very helpful and the room was clean.

It doesn’t look like regular hotel, Some times we have to wait for staff on the counter and also we have request room cleaning service before 3:00 PM

The Sunrise hotel is almost new building and it's location is very good. Staff is very friendly. Room is big.

It was such an excellent stay as the room was very clean and quiet. The front desk staffs were amazing and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel for those travellers visiting Sokcho area.

This property is not a hotel. I’m pretty sure it’s a condo people purchased and renting it out. There is no house keeping. They just leave a bag with towels and etc. hanging on your door. Also, it looks nothing like what you see in Expedia. Location is about the only thing I can say with certainty that is good about this place.

We loved this hotel. Had a great luxurious stay. Big rooms, amazing view. Get the lake side view to see the bridge at night! Laundry services in the same building and CU at the bottom too :) Would stay again.

Good hotel, great location near restourant, coffe, and market. Lovely surprise to use loandry machine inside the room. Parking was good too. The woman in the front desk did not understand english so well

Consider it - great location, clean, modern
We had a great time in Sokcho and the Sunrise Hotel. Well located in the heart of the city and near the central market. Great views of the harbor and from the elevators the beautiful mountains. The place was very clean, felt very safe, and was manned by polite and helpful staff. The parking was off-site and in a pay lot, so that was a con but it was not far away and it was super reasonably priced. The rooms are well equipped with microwaves, full size fridge and freezer, and even a combo washer/dryer. There is a 24 hour mart in the lobby and a spa and golf zone on the second floor. Great value for the price, would stay here again.

Modern room with lake view
Awesome view of the lake and bridge that lights up at night. Room had lots of storage cabinets. Wish there was a dedicated spot for eating or small table and chair on balcony but we made do. Friendly staff.

Clean, very comfy, and so affordable!
We had a very nice stay, very comfortable and clean. We were a little confused about why there is an induction stovetop in room if guests are unable to use it due to risk of fire...but we understand removing a stovetop from every room would be costly. The bed was comfortable, shower was lovely, and plenty of storage available with a sizeable fridge and even a washing machine. The lake view is well worth a little extra, absolutely gorgeous.

Hotel possibly new, had some trouble with various things around the hotel because it seemed it was under maintenance. They didn't let us park in their own parking for the 3 days we were there, though they did reimburse us for outside parking. There was a weird heavy smell first entering the room because everything was new, not a bad smell necessarily, but strong due to being just installed. We had runny noses after sleeping in the room that cleared up after being outside for a little bit. The bathroom has no shower door and it's impossible to keep from getting wet everywhere. The location is good and the people were friendly though.

This hotel is one of the newest one in sokcho. Located in the middle of the town so easy to reach to wherever you like. I strongly recommend you this hotel if you go to Sokcho area. They also have CVS and some bars on the ground floor. Best staff I have ever seen in my life.

Lake view for about $120 isn’t bad! Also there was a convenience store and a cool beer/chicken spot on the first floor. I would stay again.
