"I was in the area for work and was extremely fortunate to choose Hotel Etico for my stay. I arrived fairly late in the evening to a beautiful old Manor with a magnificent stately feel. My room was spacious and was very comforting. It was wonderful to set myself up in the Library and complete some office tasks at the end of the work day and to later sit by the fire in the dining room. "Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars......."

"Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts."

"Room decor we loved. Room size was amazing, we felt very spoilt. Enjoyed our dining in the lounge. Staff very professional and pleasant. Only thing against was the slow service of getting a ‘simple’ coffee with buffet breakfast. Had to ask several times. Obviously forgot our order. Apart from that incident , very enjoyable stay"
