"Good enough for 12 year old twin boys, myself and my 67 year old mother. Very convenient to the train into Stockholm and a big grocery store. There was sand on the floor and a cigarette butt in one of the bedrooms that we had to clean up when we arrived. The washing machine was not working. We called the number listed but no one ever came to fix it. The dishwasher was also not properly hooked up. We fixed that. They also had mostly the wrong pans to use for the induction stovetop. "Absolutely wonderful! It’s not often you get to stay in one of the original buildings in the heart of Gamla Stan. Well appointed place, very comfy! Beware the low doorways, tall people! Also note there’s no elevator. Carrying our big suitcases up the two flights up to top floor wasn’t bad at all though! We absolutely LOVED our stay, and will absolutely stay again!"

"Dirty dusty place. Cobwebs … spiders. Coffee stains on floors. It desperately needs a deep clean. No communication prior to arrival despite numerous attempts from our end. We had to book another hotel for the first overnight since we had no PIN code to enter.. phone is not answered just goes on answering machine. What a let down "

"The Scandic Klara is in a great location just a few minutes from the central station in Stockholm, but down a relatively quiet street. The single room was fine, apart from very occasional bits of noise from the rooms around, none of which was disturbing, the room was quiet and I had no problems sleeping. There is even a choice of thin or thick curtains, suitable for all times of the year. The pillows looked small and the duvet thin at first look but they were perfectly comfortable. Room size was quite small but still plenty of space for one person. Bathroom, wifi and the other amenities were all fine. The breakfast which was self-service in the central courtyard was great with plenty of choice and there were no problems getting a table during my stay in April. Staff were all helpful. Had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely come back when I return to Stockholm. "
