Our goal was to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Iceland, and this spot did not disappoint. The surroundings make you feel like you're in a nature lover's paradise. Nice room. Good dining option. Only one bathroom for 3 rooms might be an issue. But it was ok for us, as only one other room in use. Nice kitchen with everything to prep a meal and breakfast.

We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights, the first two nights of our holiday. The bedroom & balcony overlooks the sea. We saw 3 whales the first evening from the shore path. The second day we toured the peninsula & saw all of the sights. We had a wonderful couple of days. The cabin is well equipped & had everything we needed. We bought supplies in Bonus supermarket in Borgarnes on the way from the airport. The murals are interesting & worth a look. Rent a jeep if you’re heading out this...

A pleasant 1 night stay in Snaefellsnes as we were driving around the ring road. Adam at the reception gave us a very warm welcome and was very friendly. We were also quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at the Mural restaurant at the hotel. Being vegetarians, we were not expecting to see anything satisfactory on the menu but we quite enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup and the avocado salad. There are no other restaurants to speak of in the rest of the town or within short driving...

Very spacious and comfortable, quiet apartment overlooking the sea. Very well equipped kitchen and only problem we had was choosing which of several options to sit to enjoy the views! Only minor criticism was bathrooms a bit tatty but clean and functional. Village is easily walkable to enjoy the murals and views. On the edge of the national park as well. Mural Restaurant in Adventure Hotel, 5 minutes walk away is a superb treat for a good meal.

Very comfortable, friendly and welcoming stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and it was very pleasant. We arrived late at about 11pm and the owners came straight away to see us. They don't live at the post office, but would you want to live where you worked? It was clean, tidy and the location was amazing. 5 minutes from Laki tours, 2 mins from a supermarket and it had wonderful views of the mountain and the sea.

We had great four day stay in this well appointed and beautifully situated accommodation. Daily room servicing was minimal. A swept floor and clean coffee cups would be good. The nesting arctic terns outside were a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.
