We stayed for two nights, the room we had was big and comfortable. The only negative was no coffee pot in the room, but Tim Horton's was just a short walk away. Lots of fast food and other restaurant's close by. Manager was very helpful and polite. Would recommend the Barrons Motor Inn, as great place to stay!

This is a very convenient location right on Hwy 7, which I thought would be noisy, but it was very quiet. The room was spacious and newly renovated and had a fridge and a microwave which was great as I ordered in food and was able to have it over two nights. Unfortunately, cabs are very difficult to secure in a timely fashion, and I was a vendor in the art show at the arena, so the lovely owner offered to drive me there himself! He was so friendly and sweet. The price was right, and I would stay there again if I am again in Carleton Place.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Pot lights in the ceiling were nice. Decorated nicely in rooms. Nice table and chairs and couch. Nice quiet air conditioner. Small fridge is a good size. On the outside it could be more inviting with a nice patio set and more plants.Put a picnic table and gazebo on the beautiful back yard would be a wonderful touch to the property. Towels could be nicer brown are faded . Toilet is low to the floor so be careful.

Was an excellent choice. Newly renovated and very tidy. New duvets and furniture. Only paucity was inky a find drink machine for a drink.Coffee and cream would have been nice. It was New Year’s Day. Would have enjoyed a cuppa’ in beautiful festive lobby.
