"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we wanted to stay longer! The food is delicious (some of our best meals were at hotel), service is excellent, beach is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating regarding food restrictions and allergies and make modifications AND remember your restrictions. Staff will serve food and drinks at beach. We had a delicious welcome cake at arrival. The ONLY thing was the plunge pool the room has is not heated. I hope to come back!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around. The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose from. The bus station is 20 minutes away, and offers good routes to other towns and beaches. I would definitely stay again."

"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."

I chose this beautiful property to celebrate a very special milestone with my friends, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision. I was especially touched to learn that the entire hotel staff had held a meeting before our arrival to ensure that every guest in our group would be personally taken care of. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail speaks volumes about their dedication to hospitality. Even before arriving from New York, I had been corresponding with the team, and they were always incredibly responsive, accommodating, and prompt. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed, allowing me to simply relax and enjoy my celebration. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, impeccably maintained, and a wonderful place to create lasting memories. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Their genuine warmth, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel so special and welcomed. We loved, loved, loved our stay! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and am so grateful we chose it for such an important celebration. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so extraordinary!"

"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food. Very well kept beach. All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price. Didn't use the pool as it got busy very quickly. Sunbeds were very close together and not positioned well that you could get the sun all day. Whilst I enjoy swimming in a pool, we chose to stay on the beach each day. Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend Sebastien next door. Absolute gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend it."
