Clonakilty Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent service, excellent food and the night porter John was so helpful and accommodating, as well as being a mine of information on all things sport and local tourist attraction."

The Maritime Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice hotel in centre of Bantry. Good breakfast. Our room was at the back and it was dark as the trees were too close to window."

Celtic Ross Hotel
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was adequate but the fried breakfast items were not the best. For example Clonakilty Black Pudding and Rashers are available in this area readily. The bacon used was very dry. Try using fresh available fruit, the Melon was hard and dry.The fried eggs are still overdone(I stayed here before) no change there. Bar had a good pint of Guinness but the soft drinks only sold Fanta products which are not the best. Most hotels in Munster use C and C Club orange drinks vastly superior. Very Hot conditions we should be supplied with a Fan! I had trouble with Car Charger on site which would not release my charger. Caelan Hagen was brilliant in getting me the help that I needed to release the Cable. So as I’ve said Great Staff."

Dunmore House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous family run hotel"

Ouvane Falls
8/10 Good
"Booked 1 night stay here during our trip. Money for good value! This is an excellent stay when you are on the budget and looking an easy going vibe (not expecting luxury nor modern setting), appreciate absolutely hearty delightful breakfast, lovely riverside atmosphere and a bit of a fun local pub culture downstairs! We reserved online but paid our stay upon checking in. The staff are attentive and professional who showed us into our room making sure we were settled. The room was clean and spacious with really comfortable beds, a private bathroom and good shower. There's plenty parking space and stunning views to the river with swans and other birds on the water front. We were absolutely blown away by delicious breakfast experience which I highly recommend to enjoy and I take the owner of the Inn was serving us himself. We enjoyed some lovely chats with him just before leaving and got really interesting stories and tips on a scenic drives on the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

Casey's Hotel Glengarriff
10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel in a small village where there were walking trails. Restaurant attached was very convenient. Staff very friendly."

Schull Harbour Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Schull is a gem. Loads to do locally with lots of walks/hikes to explore and enjoy, which is why my wife and I were there. There is an abundance of water sports/activities available and the ferry to the islands. Each of the local towns have a trail head, where a number of looped walks start, and there are also walks to the next town where you can get lunch etc before returning to the start. The hotel is directly across the road from the trailhead and a large car park. The food in the hotel excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, well maintained and recently refurbished. The rooms at the front have spectacular views of the harbour and islands. It is a short drive to neighbouring towns/villages and to the Mizen. It might be a bit of a drive to get there, but I used this as an opportunity to stop along the way and (re)discover this part of west Cork; it did not disappoint, with loads more to discover when I return to the area."

Emmet Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the Emmet Hotel in Clonakilty was truly wonderful, and it became one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful design touches throughout. We loved the unique wallpaper in each room, the cozy and welcoming library, and the stunning dining room with its elegant ivy-patterned wallpaper. Every space felt warm, stylish, and inviting - including the two goldfish in the dining room named after the bar keepers! We were fortunate to stay in Room 19, which was absolutely lovely. The room was filled with natural light and featured a charming bay window seat where we could relax and take in the view. A door opened onto a balcony overlooking the church steeple and the town brook, creating a picturesque setting that made our stay feel even more speci What made our stay especially memorable was the exceptional staff. From the front desk team to the housekeeping staff, everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and kind. The food was outstanding. Breakfast became our favorite meal of the day, and we looked forward to it every morning. Everything was fresh and delicious, the scrambled eggs and french toast will be remember long after our trip. Also try the warm beet salad! The location is perfect - right in the heart of Clonakilty and within easy walking distance of everything in town. The Emmet became our home base for exploring West Cork, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will be back!"

The Clonakilty Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was a charming hotel with very thin walls on a very busy, noisy weekend, but I enjoyed it."
