"The property is close to the airport, away from the hustle and bustle of Skardu town. Ideally located as a base for excursions in the area.
Management and staff are very attentive, hospitable and kind. They always tried to go over and above. Traditional food was tasty, just be clear about how spicy you like it.
Electricity seems to be a local problem but they have an inverter/generator and that kicks in when electricity cuts out. That is an area wide problem in this part part of Pakistan but...

"The room had no heating and it took a long time for the hot water to flow. I washed in the cold with cold water because I did not want to waste the cold water: we were told to let the cold water flow through the pipes.
The hotel staff were however absolutely brilliant. They gave us extra quilts and blankets and warmed our hot water bottles daily with a smile.
The breakfast was very nice.
The electricity situation was also poor as was the WiFi net connectivity.
Again the staff were amazing and...
