Easy to find, very nice historic inn. Clean, comfortable room. Close enough to walk to almost anywhere in town. Friendly & pleasant inn keeper. Turned out we are from same place in lower 48.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Whitehouse in Skagway. Everything was great and we would definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend staying here!

VERY nice staff, AWESOME room, great location and love the historic aspects of the “White House”. We travel a lot and this is one of our favorite places ever!

Chelsy was very helpful and even took our bags upstairs for us and stored some items in the refrigerator. We enjoyed a few nice walks in the area and appreciated the homely place, it was warm and comfortable and we could see some nice mountains out the window

A Good Ending for 5 day travelers from Wisconsin!
We were led to believe pets were welcome, but upon arrival we were denied. The nice receptionist did direct us to another facility that my daughter & I were very Greatful👍

The White House was beautiful!! We enjoyed our stay very much!! It was within walking distance to town. Our room was on the first floor which was very nice. Sure wish we could have stayed longer.

Chelsea was a delightful hostess! The room was large and comfortable and close to town. Don’t try to walk there from the docks, though- take the shuttle. Our second stay at the White House… we love Skagway!

Stay was perfect. It is a pricey hotel in a pricey tourist town. But the hotel itself is a pleasant experience. Very walkable to everything in Skagway.

Loved how they kept the old style but yet had a private bathroom for each room. Nice to have a microwave, toaster and hot water downstairs for guests to help themselves anytime. Supplied paper plates, tea, coffee, creamer’s and sugar. Staff very helpful about where to go to eat and see in Skagway. Definitely would stay again.

Loved staying at the White House. Homey feel with fine hotel comfort. Bed was great. Bath was sparkling clean. Room was spacious. Location Out of the tourist hustle but close enough to walk in.

My grandson and I shared the suite at the Whitehouse for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The room(s) were comfortable and clean while the house itself had great character and history. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will come again!

This place had loads of character and history! Very quiet area away from the downtown cruise ship crowd. Chelsea was delightful, and a great help during our 2 day stay. Very comfortable beds. Could have used an extra chair in the room. Convenient having a "common room" with a toaster and microwave, along with a fridge in the room for breakfast items. Had a great stay!

A great find in Skagway
At the White House was very charming and comfortable. The beds and linens were wonderful! Well located out of the crowds, but walkable to most everything in town. Quiet! The owner was very friendly and helpful and had thought of lots of little touches to make our stay fantastic! Definitely stay here!

This was a great property to stay in Skagway. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone. In a great quiet location even when there is tons of walkers from the cruise ships.

The host couple were very friendly and helpful. We found the little personal touches contributed towards making our stay as pleasant as possible ie a pre arrival email with useful info. Suggestions where to eat in town and a nice friendly wave from the doorway as we left. Facilities were quaint, clean and very comfortable.
