I had a really great stay at the hotel. The hotel staff was really kind. They even offered me to keep my luggage with them until my flight even though i checked out at 12 noon. That gave me more time to explore the city. Well managed and very clean hotel. Absolutely worth the amount i paid. If i comeback to singapore again, i will definitely stay here.

Highly not recommened. This place is not suitable for overnight stay, it is more like a few hour room. The area was so bad, and not safe. Parking is not available it is only 2 little space beside the bin behind their building back door. With the price i can stay somewhere better. The content and photo is totally misleading! So disappointed and could not even stay and booked somewhere else in the end.

LIke: Pleasant, helpful receptionists especially Shanti. Granted a quiet upper floor room. Near bus-stop and 10-min walking distance to metro station. Next door to two convenience stores and food court. Coffee-making and bottled water topped up daily. Dislike: Tv channels confined to local free-to-air ones, just one relevant channel for foreigners. Small room, no closet, drawers or safe-box. Oldish bed and threadbare bath linen. Shower has no walls so toilet wet and floor slippery. Inconsistent daily cleaning standard. Faint cigarette smell in corridors despite hotel being smoking-free.

The Fragrance with some extra fragrance
The Hotel was easy to find. From AirPort we took the MRT to Serangoon Station. The Hotel was a 10 min walk. The Fragrance Hotel had unfortunately an extra to offer, that I hope they do something with. Either the guest smoke in the rooms or the staff.. either wayI hope they solve this issue. There are no smoking signs in the corridors. We just stayed for one night, but this is a fair good deal. Very convenient to go downtown. The purple line (NorthEast) to Harbor Front, goes all the way from Serangoon to LittleIndia/ClarkeQuay/China Town and ends in Harbor Front. Clarke Quay is quite a night life place!! Even the smell of old smoke, we will come back to stay on the way back. Good value for money!

1. The size of room is okay but only toliet is small and is not what I expected. 2. Easy to walk from the bus stop where I take public transport. 3. Replenish the new items when the items is finish. 4. Will clean up when I needed

Stayed at other fragrance before, staff service was bad, attitude was like they owned the place , stayed at other fragrance chains before and at least cust service were better else where. Bed sheets and pillow cases were stained like omg? And their wifi signal sucked.. Budget hotels need not have budget Cust service too..

Hotel under renovation
Room is in bad condition. Air con is very noisy and not effective. Staff is quite friendly and helpful when I request to change room due to air con.

I guess we came at the wrong night. There appears to be some construction work in the building. Like all other fragrance hotels, the one in kovan is revamping too. Even so they should put it on the website to let guests know that they are renovating.even at night there was still some work going on. And we were woken up by the hammerings early in the day. Also there wasnt cable tv as stated. Staff was accomodating. And room was clean. If there wasnt all the hammerings, it would have been a good stay.

Small room
It's small, but predictable. With TV, 2 bottles of drinking water, glass. No fridge, safety box. The bed is hard, but I prefer it this way due to my back problem. Not so convenient to mrt station.

Fragrace smells good
I miss the smell of this hotel. Smells really good. Room size is ok with queen sized bed. The wifi is a bit slow. Bathroom was clean. Very nice personel, even let us borrow adapter for cellphone charging.

Budget style.
The hotel staff was wonderful, nice and very friendly and kind, so I feel bad writing the review as the hotel was a sore disappointment. It is a non smoking hotel yet the rooms reeked of smoke in a really bad way. The room I was allotted was a tiny box, and lacked a window, making it even more claustrophobic due to the smell. This is absolutely no value for money.
