"Stayed 8 nights and was happy overall. Rooms are the highlight — spacious, comfortable bed, full kitchen (stove, oven, full-size fridge/freezer), though cooking utensils are limited. Two TVs (unused). Views range from parking lot to ocean — request your preference. Note the resort fee on top of the room rate. Housekeeping is scheduled, not daily: checked in Friday, cleaned Monday, extra days on request. I preferred the lighter touch. Check-in and checkout were easy, staff very friendly. Heads-up: Citibank flagged my charge despite an active travel notice, so bring a backup card. Plenty of parking. Elevators are slow but I was on the third floor, so no issue. Wi-Fi is iffy — the access point was solid, but their upstream connection was spotty, so don’t count on it for work or calls. Nice pool and beaches, a small restaurant attached, and an excellent walkable location: restaurants, nightlife, shops, and water sports nearby, plus close to the airport. I’m not a resort person — I use a place to sleep, shower, and change before heading out, and on that basis it delivered exactly what I needed. If you want to camp on-site all week, your mileage may vary, but the bones are solid."

"We had a wonderful, stress free and relaxing vacation. From the time we landed, rented a car from EXER and checked into The Villas of Simpson Bay!! Everyone was respectful and kind. Would definitely come back!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and the view was superb. Everyone that we spoke with during our stay were very courteous and helpful. The happy hour menu at the pool bar was great as was all of the included amenities. The resort was conveniently located close to the airport and there were many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit and recommend it others looking to visit Sint Maarten."

"Great place to stay in Sint Marteen. I recommend the front desk ask all guest if they had activities planned or make a few suggestions. They should also provide directions to the restaurants on the property, we had to figure it out ourselves. I also suggest you put teas and coffees in the room. Check out La Petrona for the buffet breakfast. Ask for Kayla Check out Bovine steakhouse for dinner and ask for Dania. Check out Aquamania Adventures for your sunset or dinner cruises. See you soon"

"The staff were very helpful and attentive. We booked a beach view but had more of the pool and above the bar restaurant, which got a bit noisy at times, but pleasant some nights as we listened to performers from our balcony. Transportation was easy to get but pricey. Recommend keeping cash. St. Maarten has become one of my favorite islands and will definitely visit again as there's so much to do we didnt get a chance to do them all during our 5 days stay."

"Property is right outside the beach. Right in the beach. Property needs upgrades and the room wasn’t clean when I arrived but staff is very helpful and cleaned up right away. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they upgraded my room also there were bugs in the room."
