We had a wonderful relaxing week at Vale da Lapa in April with our two young sons. The villa was spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day if you want it to be. The swimming pools are great and the boys loved them. It was quite quiet the week we were there, so we often had them to ourselves. We also used the spa facilities and these were great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two nights on route elsewhere. The staff are absolutely charming and helpful in every way. Available meals were simple and limited, but were more than adequate and were reflected in their lower cost, particularly as the setting from the veranda easily made up for it. Fabulous. Only issue was the name which is not obvious outside the building but police station opposite so when you know this it is easy to find. A real treat of a place. Top notch natural bedding too.

Property is better than it looks online.

We had a great stay at this hotel, lovely rooms and the staff are excellent. We like to go out of season i.e.:April,may,September because the hotel is child friendly and has a child's activities throughout the busy periods as well as adult persuits ,but not quite are thing.

Have stayed in this hotel many times. We love the atmosphere there. The bathrooms are a little tired looking, but there is always hot water. The best feature is the views across to the historic town of Silves.

Fantastic experience, I will definitely be visiting again due to the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel, amazing!

At check in we were welcomed by Joana who was so helpful and recommended places to see. We stayed in room 303, which is one of the external rooms overlooking the pool and you can even see the sea in the distance. Roll had a big balcony. This hotel is a gem. We have been going there for years and shall be returning again. As soon as you step in this place, you enter a haven of tranquility and peacefulness. Fantastic setting, built into the cliff face. Probably the best views in the whole of The Algarve! Wonderful rooms with extraordinary views out over the sea. Amazing breakfasts, great food and drink during the day. Great staff who treat you like one of the family.

Oh my goodness, myself and my husband cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is pure perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the food, ambiance and hotel/room was more than perfect.
