"The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. Having specifically booked a place with bar and restaurant it is very annoying to have to traipse around finding something to eat after a day's travelling. "

"Clean room, staff very helpful and friendly"

"Lovely property, staff were professional and friendly."

"Traditional style and comfort and great service. "

"Wonderful place along the Camino, the owner is wonderful super lovely. The property is gorgeous and the view of the sunrise from the bedrooms is just perfect. The restaurant below is great as well, quite the varied menu for the size of the town. Breakfast is at whatever hour you require as the owner will ensure she is there when you tell her you’ll have breakfast. Truly one of the most incredible places along the Camino."

"Great bar & terrace for evening drinks & snacks."

"The staff was helpful, friendly thank you for being so kind with us"

"Staff was amazing - early check in, help with transportation and just very hospitable. Best location and breakfast was good. Make a reservation for dinner if interested - they go fast."

"All round great property and very helpful attentive staff"

"Beautiful location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. The monastery church is charming. The long and winding drive was well worth it once we arrived."

"Really enjoyed night here, comfortable room and friendly staff :-)"

"Beautiful old hotel in a quiet and safe area. The parking is small but conveniently place behind the hotel. The food was delicious and staff were friendly."

"Very easy to locate from motorway when travelling and dining available at 20.30.and breakfast selection good. Can be noisy with coach parties in the restaurant."

"Great place and friendly staff. "

"A lovely hotel - rooms are very spacious and beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and the restaurant serves a very nice dinner menu."

"Great property with fabulous, well kept rooms and lovely staff. A great pool area and lots of activities for families as well as a nice play area. Breakfast not so great sadly, eggs were green, bread and pastries were stale and hard, even juice was bitter and acidic. Sadly no vegetarian food at the restaurant last night either so, have left hungry… but it was a really nice hotel. If you’re not bothered about food, it’s definitely worth the stay!"

"Great stay "

"Absolutely special and wonderful place to stay for Camino walkers. I did two nights here as a rest stop and it is a very nice place!"
