Hats off to the staff at this hotel! Every single person from Vin's team is extremely hospitable and kind. The hotel provides some great services like: 1) Free airport transfer: A super sweet & friendly team member greets you with a smile at the airport and ensures you have great air conditioning and water in the heat once you board 2) Unlimited coffee/tea: I am a coffee lover and every-time my husband & I would pass by the reception, one or the other employee would politely ask if we would like to have something ensuring that we are ALWAYS comfortable 3) Breakfast in bed: We were lazy travellers and this was a blessing to get breakfast delivered to your room. The breads are to die for ;) 4) Free city transfers: The team is extremely kind and ensures you have frequent drops & pick ups to the city overall, you see the love and passion that the team has to ensure that your stay at this property is memorable. If you are in Siem reap, make it a point that you stay here :)

I’m not sure where to begin... I’m a seasoned traveler and I have stayed at many different hotels throughout the world. By far, this is the nicest experience I have ever had staying at a hotel. The owner Vin, drivers Ton and Dany, the front desk staff were extremely kind and considerate. The property itself was gorgeous, felt like a tropical paradise. The meals were excellent and I had the best massage of my life at the spa. They arranged all of our tours and gave us rides into the town when ever we wanted at no additional cost. The staff apologized for their rural location but I loved taking a walk through their beautiful country neighborhood. I want to go back to Cambodia just to stay here again!

Wonderful staff. Beautiful oasìs outide the centre of Siem Reap. Appreciated the hotel arranged transfers to and from the center, and enjoyed the pool. The staff arranged a great driver and guide for our trip to the temples. We had a suite with 2 huge roons and a garden. Try the fish amok at the restaurant! All the food we tried was excellent.

Amazing place! Not only the owner but all the staffs were extreamly friendly and helpful. We felt as convinient as at home. The hotel resteraunt was also very good. Not big menu, but everything was fresh and tasty. There's no doubt Ung-D deserves a perfect score from the guests reviews. I would be happy to recommend it to any friends.

I would give the Ung D 6 out of 5if it were possible. Undoubtedly this is the best hotel I have stayed in during my 25 years of travelling abroard. It was both a privilege and a pleasure to stay at this small boutique hotel in Siem Reap. The location is a little out of town but the free offered transport to and from takes the hassle away. After reading other reviews of this property I made my booking and was not disappointed. In fact the quiet country aspect, the beautiful inviting pool and lush green gardens, orchids, birds, sounds of water cascading, rooftop bar, absolutely amazing staff and owner, we felt like it was our home away from home. The food was ever so tasty, in fact we found ourselves eating in the restaraunt on most nights. Really excellent fully cooked brekky every morning. After our 10 days we really hated to leave. Our smallest request was not the least trouble. Our host Vin made us feel like royalty from the moment he collected us from the airport. There were tears in my eyes when it came to say farewell, just like with family. Thankyou Vin and all the staff at U gD for making our trip to Cambodia so memorable.

Very nice staff and decorations, only bad is that the air con is not that strong enough (in april, the hottest season of the year), but the staff provided us with a fan, which is very helpful. Another thing is that it is quite far from the city centre, but you have free pick up and delivery to hard rock cafe in city center before 10 pm, which is nice. There are no shops nearby though.

The property and service are INCREDIBLE! You will feel taken care of, and even though it’s a bit outside of the city the staff is incredibly accommodating with rides, you never feel far away from where you want to go! More than that is Vin, the owner. He is an amazing person who uses all of the profits and employment to help the underprivileged get education and things they need. Some of the best memories of Siem Reap for us are still ongoing knowing that Vin is putting his heart and soul into making the world better. Talk to him about it, it will warm your heart to meet someone like Vin as well as the rest of the staff, it truly is an incredible place. Thanks again Vin!

A haven of tranquility
Lovely little place on the fringes of the town. The place has been quite recently built - so everything is clean and in excellent condition - rooms are huge. All the staff are brilliant - they speak good English and can't do enough for you. There's lots of trips out that they can organise for you - at short notice if needs be. Food/drink is excellent quality and good value for money - with the added bonus that from our two weeks in Cambodia - this place served us the best coffee and croissants we had on the entire trip - and by some margin. There really isn't anything touristy in the immediate vicinity and main areas of the town are not walkable from the hotel - but the hotel do provide their own free car/taxi or TucTuc service to and from town on demand up until 10pm. After that it's $5 - or you can get a TucTuc yourself in the town for $3 or $4. Upside of being away from the town is that you're clear of the noise that there can be from such a bustling place that is very popular with tourists. This place is nice and quiet - and when you want some nightlife - it's easy enough to get to, and get away from. Quite simply - we couldn't fault this place at all - we wish we'd had more time here and in Siem Reap in general.

This is a new hotel and is located outside of the noise of the city. All the staff were amazing and helped out many times. They had a great transfer service both to the city center and the airport. On site restaurant had great food with a combination of Khmer options and western cuisine. We had breakfast included that was a la carte. The grounds were so beautiful and meant to simulate a more natural experience. I loved the orchids everywhere and huge trees. The hotel creator/manager Vin was very friendly and always available. We really enjoyed chatting with him.

Luxury and privacy, top conditions, great hotel
So far the best place we had chance to stay in. This hotel deserves a name of luxury as the service and accommodation is incredible. The rooms are very clean, stuff is super friendly and speaks very good English, the hotel has only 9 rooms which only intensify the feeling of privacy. The restaurant, bar and spa are amazing, drinks served fresh and mixed with good hand! The hotel is located little bit outside of city center, however they offer free shuttle (up to 10pm)- if you want to party longer you can take local tuk tuk. Our fight was changed and there was no problem to stay up to 5pm at the check out date. I can recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had the most amazing time here, all the staff were so friendly and the room was impeccable. They organized all our tours to see Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples, we ended up staying an extra night, we didn’t want to leave.

Lovely family owned Hotel
This hotel has only 9 units, which I liked as it was very private and you you felt like you were were alone in the facilities. Hotel is very well run by owner on site. Staff were fantastic and nothing was a problem, seeing to your private needs, something you cant find at a larger resort. Lovely pool which was great for relaxing in after a day in the heat. There is a roof top Bar which was also great for a cold drink in the evening. Hotel offers a free Airport Pick Up and a Daily drop off to Town Centre. Generally we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others wishing to stay in Siem Reap. Mark from Australia July 2018.

Great room, nicely decorated and with everything you’d need. You are about 10 mins from the centre, but the free pick up and drop off works really well. Booked a tour of Ankor Wat through them as well. Everything was easy and straight forward. Can’t recommend enough.

Tranquility and Bliss near Angor Wat
Amazing resort with a great staff and involved and social responsible owner. We enjoyed our two nights in Siem Reap and found the hotel an oasis of comfort after traversing the magnificent ruins of Angor Wat. Would encourage everyone to stay as the photos on the website don't show how spacious and great the rooms are.

Very nice hotel with comprehensive services
Services started when we walked out of the airport as the hotel provided free transport from and to the Airport. Vin and his staff are very professional. They made excellent arrangement for our stay and sight-seeing tours in Siem Reap with private van and professional English guide. The hotel also provided free transport to and from city center. The hotel is very nice with swimming pool. The daily breakfast is excellent. We do not even need to plan our program in Siem Reap. We will certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to anyone. 3-4 days will complete most scenic spots in Siem Reap leisurely.

Homey boutique hotel
The property is well maintained and the room is big and impressive with a massive bathtub. Vin picked us up and was very helpful with booking the activities and arranging transportation. All the staff are very nice and our driver Bona was flexible with what we wanted to do in the temple tour. The hotel is 15mins drive from the city center, so it may not be ideal if you want to walk around in the city and go back to the hotel anytime you wish. We did activities in the morning and go back for a couple hours nap and relax when it’s too hot to be outside. So it worked out fine for us.

Mr vin & his staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble We were met at airport taken back to hotel (ok it’s a little way from town ) but free transport provided to downtown until 10pm (after that a small charge ) you are given a free phone for your return again no charge until after 10pm We arranged trips all booked & helpful English speaking driver One of our trips was to the circus it was very entertaining worth a visit We had dinner at the hotel very nicely presented & tasty Breakfast also good There is spa treatments available but due to the time I did not visit but will next time The pool was well maintained & staff again ready to be at service with drinks,cocktails ,food Mr vin & his staff very informative about area & things to see & do When back in Cambodia will definitely re visit

My best hotel experience ever
It is hard to find the right words to describe such a great experience. I have stayed in hotels in over 50 countries, including Lucero resorts. The service received from the owner, Vin, and the staff went beyond that. The hotel seems to be too far from the city, but don't worry, it is not. The hotel provides a driver who is always available, and they give you a cell phone to call for pickup whenever you need. The breakfast is cooked to order, the rooms are massive, the decor is amazing. The bathtubs are huge and wonderful. The pool is clean and blue, and the exterior gardens and decor are magnificent. Vin, the owner, is almost always at the hotel, and he is the most helpful and genuine businessman that I have had the pleasure of interacting with. He is all about your experience, and you can tell he truly loves providing a great experience. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Additionally, they decorated the room with fresh roses and candles for Valentine's Day. It was absolutely beautiful. If you are going to celebrate a romantic holiday, you should consider asking them to set something up for you. Overall amazing.

A home away from home
Please do not hesitate to stay here! We stayed for 5 days and it was the highlight of our 3 week trip and we wished we could stay longer. Our hotel room was massive, more like an apartment - "a home away from home". I wish it was my home! The apartment/room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. Vin and the team are so welcoming and helpful. Everyone went out of our way to make our stay perfect. We arranged all of our tours over 3 days through Vin and we had a great time. Vin booked us a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable, funny and spoke English well. The team are really approachable and they gave us great ideas for trips that we hadn't thought of, like Kulen mountain and Vin helped me to find a buddha that I was looking for! I miss the cooked breakfasts and the dinner that we ordered after walking around temples all day was fabulous. The pool is so relaxing! Thank you so much for giving us a great stay! Can't be beat.
The accommodation was simply the best we stayed in whilst visiting Cambodia. Living room, small kitchen area with large fridge, huge bathroom with great rain shower, very comfortable bedroom. Lots of wardrobe space. Good air conditioning. Excellent WiFi. Small garden with a plunge pool. The owner, Vin, was so efficient, he looked after our every need. He is also educating his delightful local staff. Great pool, aesthetically pleasing and a real pleasure to use. The hotel provides free transport to town and the airport. Superb stay. Large selection at breakfast and dinner, if you choose not to go into town. We would happily have stayed much longer.

Unforgettable stay
Over the last 5 years we have travelled Asia quite a bit. This hotel would deffently be our favorite. It's very close to town but just far enough away to make a very peaceful visit. We tried half the items on the menu and don't have 1 negative thing to say. Once you visit and meet the owner and employees (and driver Dara)you won't want to leave. Our stay was a stay we will never forget.

An oasis in Siem Reap
A super hotel away from the hustle and noise of Siem Reap. Great facilities, staff and very relaxing and comfortable. All staff were very atttentive, helpful and friendly. The pick up and drop off to airport was efficient as was the shuttle return service into the centre of Siem Reap in the evenings. The tours we arranged through the hotel were excellent thanks to the driver Dara. We would strongly recommend this small boutique hotel for those wanting to visit the Angkor temples and surrounding countryside.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Siem reap
This hotel was amazing. The rooms are huge. We had a one bedroom suite with the outdoor bathtub in the private garden. The staff dropped us off in downtown and gave us a phone to call when we wanted to be picked up. It is a 10 minute drive to the Center of town. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The pool and garden area is lovely. The best feature of this hotel is how the staff and owner went out of their way to help in any way. They provide tours if needed, and make suggestions on what to see and do. You truly feel like you are staying with friends, rather than at an impersonal hotel. Highly recommend UngD.

The hotel is new and clean with great facilities. Service is excellent and the host is very amicable and tries to cater to the guests' needs as much as possible. The host has lived in Australia for some time so he understands what tourists need. There is a free driver service to the city upon request which is very handy. The hotel is located about 5 minutes' tuk-tuk ride from the main city. No faults with this hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it.

This hotel was amazing from the room to the staff to the food, everything was simply great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property and room were both beautiful and very clean. The owner is very kind and seems to care about all his guests personally. One night I stayed out a bit late drinking on pub street and the some of the staff was waiting up for me upon my return to make sure I got back safe. The hotel is a little outside of town but offer a free shuttle to the downtown area which is very convenient. Since they offer a free shuttle service I actually found it nice to be staying a little outside of town away from the hustle and bustle. They hotel also offers free travel to and from the airport my driver Bona was great and spoke English well. He was very informative pointing out the royal gardens, the palace, And other land marks on the way from the airport to the hotel. The food was excellent and breakfast was included in my booking every morning. On the day I went to the Ankgor temples for the sunrise tour at 4.30 am they were sure to prepare a take away box for me. Also they have great coffee!! The hotel is simply amazing(the room especially take a look at my pictures) and I would not stay anywhere else on my next trip back to the Ankgor temples.

Boutique style - Friendly Service
If you want to steer away from the huge hotel chains and get some personalized service this is a good option. Rooms are very spacious in this recently built establishment. Booked our Angkor driver through the hotel and also had massage. All was great. Vin worked hard to ensure everything was satisfactory with our stay. They are away from the downtown area, but they offer a phone and driver drop off & pick-up as part of the stay, as well as airport transportation for arrival and departure. Had a brief dip in their pool which was lovely. Didn't eat there, as the evening was spent exploring downtown, but they served up excellent margaritas!

The most amazing stay we’ve ever had!
Words cannot describe how amazing our stay was at UngD. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in Cambodia, this one is by far the best. Everything from the hotel staff, service, housekeeping and laundry, far surpassed our expectations. The hotel is about a 6 minute drive into town and provides lifts back and forth all day until 10pm. Tuk tuk rides after that are around 2-3 dollars. Staff even offered to pick us up as late as we needed, just so they knew we got home okay. They give you a cell phone when you get into town so it is easy and convenient to call them for a pick up- super reliable, and a service only offered at this hotel. Rooms are impeccably clean, filled with snacks, water and beer at a low cost. The restaurant has amazing food- we wish we ate there more often! The pool and lounge area are also an amazing part of the hotel, again we wish we spent more time lounging around and enjoying it. Vin and his staff are honestly amazing. I highly highly recommend UngD over and over again. I cannot wait to plan my next trip to Siem Reap. We wish you guys an amazingly busy season and see you soon!!

Paradise!
The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Our private garden room was modern and stylish, and the outdoor bath was pure luxury. Staff was amazing and took such good care of us. Can’t think of a single fault in the place, it was absolutely perfect! We already miss it, and will definitely recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Cambodia.

Best Hotel Stay - Amazing experience
The hotel is perfect. Beautiful pool, great restaurant and Sky bar, and then the room: we were so impressed by it, bathtub next to the bedroom and a beautiful large clean restroom. We were already impressed and then we realized there is a whole other area, fridge, TV, living room, balcony overlooking the pool. It's huge, and beautifully designed. The closets were so big I could fit all my luggage there. Service is amazing, they offer free driver services to and from the city. They even give you a phone for pickups. They also offer additional services like driving you to the temples and other beautiful places in Siem Reap, and they make sure you take a great breakfast with you. I recommend using their services as you go at your own pace, instead of following a tour. All the staff is great, and I recommend Dara as a driver, he has great knowledge of the city, the history of Siem Reap and Cambodia. He will also tell you honestly which places are worth seeing, and which of them aren't . This is really the best hotel experience I've had in over 50 cities visited. I hope I can go back in the future. I only have one suggestion: Write down all the trip options to the attractions, pricing, recommended hours and even your personal suggestions. We were confused when it was explained to us, since we knew very little about the area. It would help some of us who are more visual. I have to say prices are very reasonable.

I wish Expedia would allow a sixth star for cases like this, when you have the chance to experience a moment in your life that changes you forever and it´s guided by a hotel that is recommended in this platform. If you read this and you have any doubt where to stay in your visit to Cambodia I encourage you to choose this magical place. I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit several countries in the world, and stayed in different categories of hotels. When I decided to visit Siem Reap I read many reviews but the testimonies of the visitors of UngD Angkor Suites really captured my attention (also the pics helped :)). The place is exquisitely decorated, the rooms are impecable and spacious. But what makes this place unique is the staff. You can tell that the respect for each other and for the customer is the vital energy that captures you as you arrive. But as the days go by, you feel part of this family and then your heart never leaves this place. You are guided through the whole Siem Reap experience by its owner, Vin, who is someone that will transfer to you what the pure spirit of the people of Cambodia really is. Vin is the living example of the better version of yourself that you can always be and you'll learn a lot in the process. The restaurant also serves a variety of delicious meals and drinks. I also recommend don't hesitate to arrange all tours with the hotel administration directly, they will provide the best option. I'm thankful and blessed!

A true hidden gem of a hotel
We could not have asked for more from a hotel in Cambodia. The hotel is brand new with gorgeous rooms and private garden areas complete woth outdoor bath tubs. The hotel service was amazing with free pickup and drop off from the bus station as well as free rides to and from the city center. The hotel is situated just minutes from downtown but far enough away from the hustle and bustle (and smell) of the city. if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, you will not be disappointed in UngD.
