Beautiful property and excellent service! Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food at both restaurants. The pool is lovely. Many amenities.
The romes is a pretty small, the stuff is extra ordinary, they help you in every way they can, and very personal with all the dishes you have. At breakfast we still have an egg Benedict where the sauce hollandaise is made fresh, I think that’s one of the last hotels where this is happening, delicious
We stayed at the Raffles for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were immaculately kept. The Raffles Grand Angkor was comfortable, luxurious and relaxing.
The service is superb and the pool is epic. Definitely recommend dining on the terrace one evening. The rooms and hotel are old school in design but the pool is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Definitely the best hotel in Siem Reap and well worth it - you’ll want to come back to somewhere like this after all your exploring. NB. bring bug spray!
Raffles Siem Reap is simply one of a kind, as close as you can get to experiencing what it was like to be on a grand tour of Southeast Asia 100 years ago.. luxury in every detail, yet as relaxed and inviting as your own home.
Excellent location , close to restaurants and Royal palace. Staff are very attentive and personable. They have a very talented piano player at the restaurant during afternoon tea. The only downside is that the spa needs some updating otherwise the rest of the facility are world class.
An amazing hotel and staff. Ready to meet all of your needs and make you feel at home. Luxury, class, kindness, cleanliness and highest level of service. I had the best message ever at the amazing spa. The room was comfortable and had everything (and more!) that I could need. Food was top rate and everyone was friendly and eager to make sure I had what I needed. First class!
Once I stepped into the hotel, I immediately felt being back to my home. This hotel provides that kind of warm greeting, comfortable staying with kind staff.
The combination of good old time (1930-40’s era) and the latest service was good enough for me as a classic hotel lover!
All of staff remember my name & face, so every time I need some help (especially for my child care), they offer a kind help at right place at right time. That was so fascinating and remarkable hospitality.
By all those good services, I definitely come back again for staying this very hotel.
This Hotel was like a dream. I loved every second of my stay here. It was extreme luxury with a yesteryear feel to it. The staff were amazing. So happy, kind, friendly and always happy to chat and help in any way they could. The room was one of the best rooms I have ever had in a hotel. It really was like sleeping on a cloud in the massive bed. I felt like a king! I genuinely had a tear in my eye when I left! I’ve never experienced this type of luxury at such a low price.
Even though I was told it’s just been renovated Grand hotel d’Angkor still has all the trapping of a 1930’s historic hotel such as the original wooden lift which really makes you fell like you’ve been transported back in time.
The staff were also excellent and really made you feel like family.
Although it’s expensive is still think the hotel offers unbelievable value for money for the quality you are getting for the price (£1000 a night hotels in London are not as good as this place).
The one thing I would is the breakfast could be a bit better, the bread and sausages were not up to the high standards of everything else at the hotel.
I had a very short time for a trip to Siem Reap after a business trip to Vietnam and was looking for a hotel that would feel safe for a solo traveler, convenient for a quick trip and feel like a vacation. Raffles did not disappoint. The service was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious and the shops are hard to resist. Even on an extremely hot day, I enjoyed a few hours at the pool between tours. I only wish I had been able to stay longer. I think this may be my new favorite hotel anywhere. It’s luxurious with all of the modern conveniences while also highlighting the culture and artisans of Cambodia.

The rooms were well appointed and a good size but the bathrooms were very small for a luxury hotel . Secondly the mixers did not work so it was a struggle to get warm water !!! The team could not fix this . We took two rooms in the old wing and they both had this problem . Staff was kind but could not grasp that there was major Techinal issue with either the cold water or the hot water pressure which in turn affected the mixer form operating normally . Also pressure in the shower was poor . They need to have a Hydroneumatic system to get the full effect in the old wing .
The food and beverage was superb . Lovely atmosphere and the food and beverage staff was good . Prices are high but the quality was very good . Airport transfers are exhobriant. A one way surprise transfer was 150 dollars when the room rate we paid was 260 dollars per night . I mean in comparison to the room rate this was excessive . On the return we got a grab taxi for 60 dollars . So don’t book airport transfers through the hotel .
