Really great place. Everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The shower was amazing after a month in Asia, the bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean. Highly recommended.

The villa was beautiful and spacious, and the cleaning crew did a great job cleaning it daily. I loved the “extras” the hotel provided, eg free SUP rental, free transfers around GL, and free fresh coconuts almost on a daily basis. All staff we encountered were wonderful and friendly. There are a few minor points which I think the hotel could benefit from improving: 1. Offering hair conditioner and body lotion in the villas and 2. Offering Filipino / other cuisines in the restaurant.

I really liked the Retreat. My room was really a large apartment. Spacious with full length windows on two sides overlooking the sea, gardens and swimming pool. Nice restaurant area with idiosyncratic Korean inspired food. At fist I thought the room was a little rustic but that was due to customs built furniture pointed dark brown. In fact the facilities were bang up to date - separate toilet, basin and shower areas modern TV and good broadband. The beach was not really suitable for...

value for money, cheap stay no stress

The facilities are really nice in general but the new rooftop hangout is going to really make this hostel stand out when things go back to normal. Such a great place to hangout, have drinks after surfing, watch movies on a rainy day or play play or other games with other travellers! Also loved the location and privacy the beds give you. Feels like your own little room inside your dorm

Fair price for what you get, basic room with basic bathroom. Air con worked well and shower is very hot.
