"Apartment/hotel is listed as 4 star on Expedia, the actual condition of the unit was in poor, old, worn and dirty condition, far from a 4 star rating. It is a 1 star at best. Visible wall cracks that were patched up with silicone, dark build up and cracks around the kitchen counter, bathroom sink and shower stall. "Enjoyed our stay, lovely grounds, super helpful staff that had great English speaking and were always on hand to help. The free private shuttle by the hotel was very helpful in getting us to and from the Great Wall the breakfast was great a good mix of eastern and western food!"
