"The pictures on their website site are very deceiving and do not look the same. Please do not book the cottage jungle view room since it’s not in the main hotel and it’s on next to main hotel which looks like a small hut. Also, there was a constant cow noise the whole night and we were unable to sleep. I requested to cancel one night which we didn’t stay after encountering the issue but staff were unable to help us even though they seem cooperative. I am really disappointed with my stay here."

"Raniban retreat is a beautiful place to stay. Everything was so clean and well organised. The view from the room was incredible. The food was delicious and healthy. The staff delivered unbelievable service, from organising room decoration and a birthday cake for my partner, to accommodating allergies. "

"This unique small hotel offers a beautiful view of the lake. One can sit in the top floor restaurant enjoying delicious, freshly prepared food while gazing at the peaceful view of hills embracing the tranquil lake. The owner is a very talented wood carver. All the furnishings in the guest rooms are beautifully carved. Even the hangers! A truly unique experience!"
