Horseshoe Bay is Bowen's most iconic beach and a favourite for locals and visitors alike. The beach is framed by two granite outcrops which provide a haven for a wonderful range of fish and coral just a short swim from the beach. There is also a little resort next to the car park. This is taken from Rotary Outlook which is about 10 min walk from the carpark.

"Loved the little boat house room, very unique, the stay included a beautiful continental breakfast which was very well setup and plentiful. The gardens and landscape are beautiful, the pool, lobby and deck area were very comfortable and beautiful. Nice comfortable hanging basket chairs to relax in. Highly recommend this location. Great restaurant on site as well , Northerlies, good food large portions. Great atmosphere, good for kids too"
