I made this reservation through hotels.com and the hotel would not accept my reservation while checking in saying that they do not have any tie up with hotels.com. They would not let us in saying that it is a fake reservation. We had a kid with us and we had to wait for an hour to resolve this. The issue resolved only after calling hotels.com customer service and then they spoke to the hotel and finally the person at the reception spoke to the concerned person. It happened that hotels.com reservation shows up as an expedia reservation and the hotel would find a reservation based on the booking site and not by booking name ( which was weird). Only then they could find our reservation and let us check in.
