I was pleasantly surprised....good clean room with a pretty good breakfast and excellent check in....sensed some pride in their work and brand which is always comforting. Refreshing good double glazing on the window (always a problem in China) kept out noise resulting in a really good sleep.
It is clean and big. Breakfast is good. The sign to hotel can be better.
The overall experience was fanstastic, very nice hotel, super comvinient to the airport, staffs are very warm and friendly, bed is so comfortable. The only con is that I found some ants in the trashcan.
Cheap basic hotel, ideal for stopover before early flight. Reception staff understood English and were helpful. Room was basic and adequate with toiletries, kettle and cups (but only Jasmine tea), free wi-fi and TV. We did not use the hotel restaurant as it looked a bit like a canteen, but there ...
Staff is very friendly! Always enjoy our stay.
difficult access particularly if one has luggages to take care off. Breakfast is very poor by all standard eg cold tea,no coffee, lack of choice, empty food trays took a while to replenish, staff service leave a lot to desire
One of the largest airports in China’s Pearl River Delta area, Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) is a fairly new airport that serves the city of Shenzhen. The airport sits just 32kms northwest of the city centre and offers a number of transportation options into the city and other places in the area. Passengers can also travel by ferry to Hong Kong International Airport to catch a connecting long-haul flight.Don’t Miss
Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) opened in October 1991 and has since been through some major expansions. The new 450,000-square-metre terminal building, which opened in November 2013, serves over 39 million passengers each year travelling to destinations all over China and major cities throughout Asia.
Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) is a hub for Shenzhen Airlines, which offers flights to over 30 domestic destinations, including Shanghai, Beijing, Changzhou, Xi'an and Kunming, as do plenty of other airlines. International destinations served include Seoul, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Tokyo, among others.
Compared to the nearby Hong Kong International Airport, Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) is smaller, but it deals with more domestic travellers and is not as good in terms of English services. Still, Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) has plenty of telephones, information counters, drinking fountains, ATMs and currency exchange booths. There are also a number of VIP lounges in both the domestic and international areas of the terminal building.Restaurants and Bars
Shenzhen International Airport (SZX) has a number of places where passengers can eat, with everything from Chinese fast food to a full-service steak house being available. There is also a good selection of coffee shops and bakeries. Those that prefer a more upscale eating experience can dine at the Hyatt Shenzhen Airport.Shopping
Duty-free shops are available to international travellers in the international area of the airport. There are also plenty of other shopping facilities at Shenzhen International Airport (SZX), including fashion boutiques, leather goods shops, jewellery stores, souvenir shops and book stores. There are also convenience stores for grabbing quick snacks, beverages and travel accessories.
