"The staff that checked us in was amazing, very friendly & recommended a place to eat. Unfortunately the power went out in the middle of the night but didn't really affect us. The staff member that checked us out wasn't able to print me a receipt due to the internet being down & was going to email me a receipt which never happened. Over all I was happy with the stay & would stay again."

"One of the coolest hotels I have stayed at, felt like stepping back in time. It was weird to not see any staff or other guests at all but great to have the run of the place. Library and sitting rooms beautifully furnished and games room with free Beer tap a highlight for me! "

"Fantastic place to stay. Unfortunately at 4am, the wind outside shifted from the north, carrying down valley the odor from the paper pulp mill in Johnsonburg. Very unpleasant to say the least. Sleep was over. The odor envelopes the entire town of Ridgeway and valley. Not the fault of the hotel, it’s a great stay. Strangely enough, check the wind direction forecast!"
