The motel is close to several restaurants and is within walking distance of the seashore. The owner is very congenial and is immediately responsive to requests regarding the rooms.

Our stay was nice. The owner was very kind and welcoming. The only issue was that the pool was not functioning because they were renovating it at the time that we were staying. Overall it was a good experience.

If known we would have informed you for sure.You are very much aware that as the pool was not available, we let you use our conference without any charge for your team. It seems the kids enjoyed a lot.

You could see outside through an opening as door would not close properly. A total disgusting feeling, couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. The place should be torn down and rebuilt. Cant believe there are gross places like this. I have not 1 nice thing to say.

Comfortable stay
Friendly staff. Would recommend this motel to friends/family. Big spacious room with small kitchenette. Wasn’t in the room too much but it was perfect for what we needed. Close to everything too

Owner went out of his way to accommodate us and explain why the room was pricier than we expected. Beware of Orbitz! They dont let you know their pricing is USD. Misleading advertising. Call directly for real price! The room itself was good!

Arriving at the motel it was not as clean as presented in the photos. I checked in and paid for my stay. Later the owner found me at the pool with my kids and had me pay more for my kids staying with me. They treated me like they were mad i booked though expedia and not direct through them. The room was not great, the sheets and comforters were all stained. There were dead spiders in the bathroom, along with the rusted tub. I would not recommend.

Hi Shane,You had booked and paid for two adults only. You entered the room with 2 adults and 6 children. Out of 6 children, 3 were as big as any adults. Upon inquired by our staff, you simply ignored saying that it is your normal practice wherever you go. The manager looked for you everywhere and finally found you at the pool to discuss the disparity about the payment made and services requested.How could one expect an extra large pizza with multiple toppings when paid for a medium with two toppings only? You were provided with six extra blankets along with a lot many bedsheets, pillows and towels without any extra charge.Wherever you go next time, kindly make a reservation as per your needs and pay accordingly. Stop making a fuss.We make no compromise with the comfort of our guests.

This was the worst motel stay of my life. I paid $142 and would not stay here if I was offered it for free! Very dated building/equipment, the furniture felt very unclean. Walls were dirty and had marks. The dresser that the TV sat on was all broken around the top edge. TV had lines going through the screen, once we actually got it to turn on. I booked on Expedia and when I placed the booking I didn’t know my 15 year old son would be coming with us or not. He did, and we were charged extra for this? One queen bed and one pull out sofa for 2 adults 1 teen? Why the extra fee!!? it’s not like you’re offering breakfast!! We had to call to get a blanket for the sofa bed, only a fitted sheet was in the room. No pillows for it either. The icing on the cake was the huge bang at 1:20am from the person next door after he passed out against our room window/wall and landed on the walkway between our room and our car!! I didn’t know whether to call police or the owner! Should have called police because when I did contact the owner he said that the person lives at the motel. He tried to feed me a crap story that the man has medical issues! He was clearly drunk and had passed out. I told the owner I’d like a refund and wanted to leave. He told me to contact Expedia, which I did. He refused to issue a refund and told Expedia everything was safe and would not refund us! I will be contacting the better business bureau!! Don’t waste your hard earned money on this dumpster of a motel. Disgusting

Dear guest, The description of the room mentioned by you, does not match at all with any of our rooms. Kindly don’t confuse our property with some other property you might have stayed.We rarely have a guest who has problems with everything.As per the standard practice across the hospitality industry, the room rates are as per the number of guests going in the room. You had paid for 2 guests and arrived with 3 guests. So the manager asked you to pay for the 3rd guest. If you had the 4th guest, then you would have been charged accordingly. As simple as that….!!!Now, the guest- a senior in the neighbouring room already staying for 2 nights, had a medical condition. He went out for a smoke at around 1 am and unfortunately fell down due to his medical condition. He was so weak that he could not stand up on his own. Our manger went and helped him to go to his room. How could you be so judgemental? It could happen to anyone including you. Would you want someone to help you or call the cops at that point?In short, you wanted a free stay and get all money back, so you came up with all possible excuses. As mentioned earlier, we rarely have a guest who has problems with everything until a free stay is provided.Our property is under 24 hrs video surveillance and all possible measures are taken to keep it safe always.You are always welcome at our property but kindly arrive without your pre-conceived notions.Thank you..

Husband and wife run hotel. Wife so sweet and nice. Huge room, found hair on my pilliw case, called the desk, the wife changed everything asap. We also found a bug crawling in the sheets, when the desk was called the husband blamed my mother for leaving the door open, left ajar so the staff could enter. The bug was inside the bed, only noticed when the sheets were pulled back. The husband was non apologetic. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Room was not clean, mini fridge filthy, no lamp shades, hair in tub, dirty towel behind couch, dead mosquito on wall, towels are all stained, curtains are not same sizes, space of about half an inch under front door( you can feel the cold air come in like crazy) continental breakfast “ apparently only have decent one in summer months” but thats not mentioned anywhere if you look them up, first room there was no shower curtain and heat not working( i had asked for a lower room because of knee problems, the said they would provide us with two tower heaters, but then they only had one so they changed us rooms) , and their beds are really really hard! BUT the staff is friendly

Dear guest, We appreciate you taking your time to write the review!We only provide continental breakfast as mentioned on the website. In which we have two kinds of bread different types of spread, coffee, 4 kinds cereals, different kinds of tea, orange juice, apple juice, 3 different kinds of muffins, etc. However, we do change our menu in the summer time by adding bagels, sausage, eggs, waffles, and other products reason being change in room rent and other amenities. We would very much be pleased to take suggestions into consideration when provided. We have only 2 rooms where p-tech unit is not functioning properly so we provide that room with portable tower heater for which we have already ordered a new one. We have not rented out the room since the breakdown, however the guest insisted on the room downstairs because of the health condition cannot go upstairs. Guest were also informed about the situation before renting out the room. We also changed the room right away. We're sorry you were unhappy - we'll work hard to fix the issue you experienced. Thanks for letting us know

A sleepless night in someone else's filth
Oh boy...where do I start. Well we arrived and the place was a bit outdated for the price. At first glance our room appeared ok. But within a few moments of settling in we were a bit afraid to sit on anything. There was dried blood on two of our towels and my fiance joked about the poop stains on the face cloths. The bed had dirt on the sheets. There were long black hairs folded into the towels as well. It was like someone had used the room and housekeeping just rearranged it without replacing the linens. Ive worked in the industry and been a housekeeper so I can tell when corners have been cut. What made matters worse was the people this hotel attracted. We didnt sleep that night as the guests above us stomped, violently screamed, fought and threw things all night long without let up. We drove 4 hours for our 1 year anniversary to stay because we saw jet tubs avaliable in the room and because shediac is a gorgeous place... Ive travelled my entire life, including other countries, and stayed at hundreds of hotels. This was possibly one of the worst experiences. Do not recommend.

We do wash the linens after every use and make sure if it is cleaned however, if you could have let the front desk staff know about the situation, they might been able you help you out with your concerns and everything might have been changed including room right away. Also, we would have advised the other guest to not disturb the other guest. Once again we deeply apologize for the inconvenience. Moreover, we recommend you next time always let the staff know about the situation so they can help you out in every possible way.
