They have really cleaned up the property and have made some fantastic renos. It is safe and in a great location. Get a room facing the river and the walking trail.

The Rodd was an affordable option close to downtown and Champlain Place. We had a nice room with a great view of the river. Comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. We only stayed overnight, but would definitely stay again.Many downtown hotels were priced much higher..
