"Everywhere very clean, loved the bathrooms and big sinks. Building has lots of history. Staff are very friendly.
Breakfast was good and location of the hotel is very central. Lots of cafes near by.
We went for the classic room as we weren't going to be out exploring every day. It was quite dark as it was in a corner looking into a wall. This actually worked to my advantage as I normal wake at 5:30am in the morning, even with a mask, but the room was so dark I slept most mornings until 8am! Bed was also very comfy.
I'd stay here again. This room is really good value if you're not spending any time in it but if you like to hang out in the room then maybe upgrade to the next level.
Overall very happy with our stay."
"Booked an overnight stay for myself and an elderly relative with mobility and vision impairments and had to navigate a gigantic heavy door on the street into an apartment entrance with a flight of stairs to a lift. None of this is mentioned in the description and we had heavy cases as well so had to leave them unattended in the lobby.
The lighting in the rooms is abysmal, I was faced with showering in near darkness. The bigger problem is the corridors to/from the rooms which are in blackout with useless spotlights on a timer and have multiple small steps which you must try and navigate, making it a dangerous hazard for anyone. We had also been put in rooms at opposite ends of the hotel which was very inconvenient so I had to traipse up and down in the dark to help my mother. My mother’s room was completely unfit for purpose, the bathroom was so small you couldn’t even use the toilet properly, the shower door was hanging off and the wardrobe door was broken. My bed was like a slab of concrete and had to use earplugs as you can hear everything going on outside and in the corridor. No blackout curtains and you can’t close them as the thin blind is also hanging on the same curtain pole!
One measly bath towel with no smaller towel for your hair/hands/face. Nothing to make tea or coffee with in the room, which is given by default anywhere else. "
"La struttura è architettonicamente stupenda
Servizio nella media bassa (room service alle 15 ...)
Dettagli migliorabili dalla temperatura nelle stanze (piene di spifferi dall'impatto significativo), alla qualità dozzinale della toilette paper"
