There were many recommendations for this hotel, and the pictures look amazing. However upon arrival the building looked outdated and could use some update and cleanliness, especially in the bathroom of the room. The staff was very friendly, the view outdoors and nature was lovely, but the hotel (indoors) itself was the disappointing part.

Beautiful older hotel with a resort like atmosphere. Facade was little worn but interior had stunning wood bar and interior. Great restaurant on site. Staff helpful and friendly.

Nice for a budget traveler
A bit run down and smelled like long-ago smokers. Our room was small and dark, and the pictures are really good in comparison. Check-in was not really friendly, but not unpleasant either. Just business. That being said, it wasn't a horrible stay, and for the money, it was clean, the breakfast was great, and the shower was hot. Not memorable, but for an overnight, not a bad deal.

Outside of hotel was badly in need of paint and general maintenance. Bathroom was so small one can sit on the toilet and brush teeth at the same time if wanted. The sink did not drain quickly. Unfortunately, it was the worst 3 star we have ever used having used 3 star hotels for many years.

Late night check in
We were travelling by car and looking for hotels on the way depending on how much road we would cover. We are night owls so we would push our driving in the night, so we were looking for a hotel with 24h desk. We found this lovely place in the countryside on the app, and we could check in at 2am. The room was comfortable and clean. It needs a bit of a renovation, but overall it was pleasant and we had a good rest. Great buffet breakfast available, and free parking onsite.

Great lush setting. It is a great value. The pool is very pretty. Rooms are average. Restaurant is good. Staff are wonderful.

Personale accogliente e disponibile. Mi hanno fatto notare che avevo pagato qualcosa in più rispetto alla prenotazione e mi hanno regalato una bottiglia d'acqua. Non è da tutti. Camera pulita, con tutto l' occorrente. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Abbiamo deciso di scegliere quest' hotel poiché eravamo di passaggio e avevamo visto le recensioni ... Hotel datato ,ma questo non ci preoccupava più di tanto .... Ciò che non ci e piaciuto e stato il terribile odore di fumo durante il check in , e soprattutto in camera una terribile puzza di fumo ...stanza datata ma abbastanza pulita ... La colazione era giusta e abbastanza ben organizzata....ma sicuramente poco fornita. Per il personale nulla da dire gentilissimi tutti ..quindi un 5 stelle a tutti ...l hotel ha molti pezzi di storia e soprattutto uno splendido lago con paperelle ... Qualche accortezze e una bella ristrutturazione e sarebbe favoloso ...peccato !!!

Albergo di certo 'gusto anni 80' però letti comodi, stanze calde (regoli tu la temperatura come vuoi) e, almeno a noi, stanza decisamente ampia con ben 2 tv (una per il letto matrimoniale e un'altra per i 2 letti dei ragazzi); per quello che abbiamo pagato decisamente ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile, colazione migliorabile (avrei preferito un cappuccino/caffè fatto al bar e non alla macchinetta automatica anche se era buono).Unica pecca della stanza il bagno decisamente 'sacrificato' soprattutto nel lavandino. Bruttina la stradina che porta all'ingresso dell'albergo anche se brevissima. Per il resto decisamente consigliato anche per la vicinanza con Firenze e Pisa.

Siamo arrivati sul tardi, trovato la stanza fredda. Ci hanno venduto due letti singoli uniti con la lenzuola come letto matrimoniale. Abbiamo fatto la colazione in hall un po’ fredda visto che è fine novembre e come colazione classica machina caffetteria e marmellata pane, poca scelta. Tutto sommato silenzioso. Forse tornerei se mi trovo di passaggio per fattore prezzo.

you get what you pay: 3* Hotels in Italy especially those which are 40 years old are always a "challenge". This place has potentials but needs investor to rennovate (and raise rates). From outside it looks "worn", inside it is "worn" everywhere: small lift from 1980, furniture from 1980, Good that AC was "working" (till 4 in the morning, afterwards they save energy and money). Breakfast is below average, very limited choice, coffee from machine (horrible) and juice is sweated water only. Even if you are on a budget there are better hotels for similar rates in Montecantini Therme with better value. Italian breakast in Bar is 3-4€ for fresh cornetto and good coffee!

Gammelt hotel.
Helt ok for en enkelt nat, man får hvad man betaler for. Hotellet ser slidt ud og ser derfor ikke indbydende ud og vi var lidt skuffet over dette samt de hårde madrasser. Morgenmad i bar/reception var hellere ikke et plus, lidt mærkeligt.
