We enjoyed freshly baked bread the host provided during our stay. The bathroom sometimes had a sewer smell and required us to open and air the house out. They will be correcting the plumbing issue that resulted in fresh water flow from the toilet during our stay. They were very responsive in the clean up. "

"Very nice new unit, air conditioning works very well, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely private patio with sun loungers and a million dollar view of funchal and the ocean far below. Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. "Great location with grocery shopping and other stores, restaurants within walking distance. The room was spotless and the view was very pleasant. The room service was very efficient and arrived quickly. I think the could have used a clock so that when you woke up in the night you knew what time it was and also the hair dryer kept turning off. That was very inconvenient. The front desk staff assisted me with all of my tours and answered all of my questions. All in all it was a very good experience and I would return."
