"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. "I really enjoyed my stay at downtown ! The room was very spacious and bright . The room was very clean with lots of amenities, including tv, kettle and microwave . Breakfast , coffe and tea refilled every morning . The host , Marco has been amazing, friendly and always available . I really recommend Downtown Ferrara !"

"Alessandro was very welcoming as soon as we walked in. This has been the best hotel experience we've had thus far and we are world travelers. We arrived late and tired, we had dinner at the hotel and were very happy with the food and as well as the service. We stayed in the junior suite - its not abundantly clear on Expedia, but its a king bed and a pull out double bed. It was perfect for our family. "
