My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned based on when you would like them to clean it. Also was a big fan of the rain showerhead in the bathroom!

Hotel Newv was perfect in location, super close to one of the major subway stations in Seoul. It was surrounded by cafes and a lot of dining options which made it very convenient. Staffs were kind except for one receptionist who I checked in with. There was no welcoming note nor explanation about the hotel/amenities/services. I wouldn't say they went beyond anything that was expected. One thing that I couldn't understand was how the bathroom door was transparent. I was staying by myself so it wasn't a problem for most of the time but when I had a friend over, it was pretty weird. I can't imagine what it'd be like for a couple or a family staying in the room. Even though I had the heater off, the room got really stuffy and hot yet they didn't have a temperature controller (only had a heater option which was useless at this point). Some of the facilities/amenities that they said they're offering or stipulated in the hotel intro were not available. I think they should either make them available asap or just get rid of them from hotel intro page.

The hotel room size is decent and modern, very close to subway station, and not far from airport bus. There are a lot of restaurants across the big street. It is an entire restaurant row. There is also a good gym you can use for free. For the price, it is definitely a good deal. I stayed at a hotel nearby last time which costed double but the room size is not as big as Newv. So I definitely will stay at Newv again. I saw some reviews about stains and mold in shower, I did see stain on the chair and some mold in shower, but it didn’t bother me. The bed is clean. Overall, I think it is a great deal.

This Hotel Newv is very nice! Staff st reception can speak english well. Very clean room, I love this hotel. No bad smell in the room and no bad smell in the lobby. My bathroom are very clean, everything are clean and new. Is very close to the subway station: Soelleung, walking from the hotel less then 3 minutes. Very close to bank, bus, restaurant around. Very good location around gangnam, and very quiet location. it’s very close to the bus station « Bus » to bring the tourists to the Airport Incheon directly. I definitely come back to this hotel next time.

Room service wasn’t really service. Bed sheets were always stained and not clean. A lot of dust in the room. But overall not a bad stay for the price I paid. Wouldn’t pay more than 100 a night.

Good hotel close to metro
Nice place to stay in business district of Gangnam ( e.g can walk to CEOX convention centre in 20 mins) - friendly helpful reception staff , clean room and location very close to metro to allow you to get around Seoul easily

We stayed more than 2 weeks and overall, we are satisfied! Staffs were kind and was able to help everything we asked, but sometimes we didnt satisfy with cleaning (hairs and dust were still around the bed even after cleaning) so we had to let the front desk know. Besides this and our window was facing right in front of other building so we left curtains closed everyday, it was good. Thank you!

Nicely located in Gangnam a few blocks from Seolleung Station. Many food options just across the street. Hotel also has a Vegan cafe on site. Room (double twin) was sizable and beds comfortable. Easy to book a massage in the spa. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. We spoke little Korean and had no issues conveying our needs. Would stay again.

Very comfortable stay
I was in-transit so only stayed one night. On check-out 30 April I was immensely grateful to the tall gentleman at reception who helped me out with the difficult location of my next address. My lack of Korean wld have made it otherwise very difficult. And of course another pair of arms took the burden off moving heavy luggage. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable and has a peaceful atmosphere. For practicality, it has the best designed hotel bathroom I've been in and the room offered generous space for two suitcases without having to bend down down to the floor. Additionally the bed was very comfortable. There is stretching space on the wooden flooring. However, the gym in this hotel is fabulous. There's even a sauna and plenty of lockers.

Stayed two nights. Someone put hair in the toilet paper and dusty side tables. The room temperature was centralised and there was an air conditioner which was not working. The room temperature went above 30°c so I could not sleep. When I called the concierge, the guy who picked up was not very helpful. He asked me if I was given a notice about their room temperature issues, so there was an issue which was not advertised. He told me to open windows to set the room temperature down, so I had to stay up until 4am. I would not pay $0 for accommodation where I cannot sleep properly.

All staffs from check-in and at a restaurant for breakfast were very nice and friendly. The deluxe double room was very roomy with big table and sofa to have guests over and eat food and drink. It was very pleasant to use the tub in a shower booth too. Will definitely go back for my next trip.

Ok rooms - totally lacks amenities
Long term business stay of 2.5 weeks. My room did not have a chair for the desk; had to use a nightstand as a chair. My room's window faced the building across the street; close enough to see the people through the window and vice versa. Hotel did not include picture of this, and if they did, I would have chosen a different room. Hotel included roof top picture, but roof top access was disabled. Lobby music is too loud; night club loud at times. Hotel had picture of onsite restaurant, but it was closed down (Covid19 restriction lifted long time ago), and had to go out every morning to eat. All in all, clean rooms but totally lacks amenities. Will not stay again.
